Brief Narrative: Christina Doyle was found to be a victim of Theft by Deception after she had cashed a check for a neighbor, Jesus Carbajal, thinking it was a valid check. These checks were found to be stolen from Abby Martin at a unknown time after she had given Jesus Carbajal a ride. These checks were completed by Jesus and cashed by him or Doyle.

Offense: Hit & Run Accident
Victim: Perniel Valdes Incident #: L24071849
Date and Time of Incident: 7/18/24 10:39 pm
Location of Incident: W 2nd St & N Locust St
Brief Narrative: Officers responded to the area of 2nd St.. W. and Locust St. N. for a reported hit and run accident. Contact was made with a victim whos vehicle sustained severe damage. Multiple witnesses on scene reported that a maroon pickup had been traveling westbound on 2nd St. at speed far over the posted limit. Witnesses relayed that the pickup then rear ended a Pontiac Grand Prix just east of the Locust St. intersection. Witnesses advised that the pickup
continued to accelerate screeching its tires after the initial collision pushing the Pontiac and its driver to ram the front of the vehicle into a concrete planter and a street light. The pickup was then said to have reversed then fled to scene southbound on Locust St.
