Zobel Signs With Southeast CC

(Grand Island, NE) - It's off to Southeast Community College in Beatrice for Northwest senior slugger Reyse Zobel signing with the Bobcats to play softball on Monday afternoon. This past season the Vikings went 30-4 qualifying for the state tournament for the fifth straight year. Zobel played a key part in the back-to-back state titles in 2022 & 2023. At the plate is where the Viking catcher would be the most dangerous as she leaves Northwest as the all-time home run leader with 44 home runs in her Northwest career. 

Zobel's totals for Northwest this past fall season were 40 hits, 18 singles, 8 doubles, 14 home runs, and 55 RBIs.  

Last year Southeast Community College finished the season 19-17 under Head Coach Gary Lytle.
