Volleyball: Northwest Finishes 5th At Twin City Invite

(Scottsbluff, NE) - After going 2-1 in pool play on Friday at the Twin City Volleyball Invite the Vikings then had bracket play on Saturday, September 30th. The Vikings who lost 2-1 to Ogallala in pool play Friday had to turn around and play the Indians again in the first round of the gold bracket. The Indians would win in two sets 25-17 and 25-22. Northwest would then defeat North Platte for the 2nd time this season 25-20 25-17 to advance them into the fifth-place match vs. Alliance. The Vikings won 2 sets to 1 over the Bulldogs 21-25 25-17 25-17.
