Tabitha Hospice Honored with National Excellence Award

Tabitha Hospice—Nebraska’s longest-serving provider of end-of-life care—has been recognized by Texas-based organization, Homecare Homebase, as part of their prestigious 2024 Client Success Awards. Tabitha is a national winner of their Hospice Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Excellence Award.

Honorees are determined by highest-level rankings on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ “Hospice Visits in the Last Days of Life” (HVLDL) metrics.

Tabitha Hospice was named as a recipient based on quality and availability of care in life’s most challenging moments, an involved and local volunteer base that provides additional companionship and support to clients, and a team of grief experts that provide bereavement care to families for 18 months following a loss.

Additionally, the team recently received a four-star quality rating from the CMS—one of the only providers in Nebraska to meet and exceed such standards.
