Sodbusters Scorch Prospects

The Hastings Sodbusters kept their playoff hopes alive with a 14-3 pasting of the Nebraska Prospects on Friday. Hastings moved 12 games over 500 for the first time in franchise history. The Sodbusters scored in every inning but one in winning their sixth straight. 

Kale Jensen went 3-4 tripled, knocked in two and scored three times. Drew Vega was 3-5 and scored twice. Josh Prinner, Jack Borgman, and Bryce Ronken each had two hits.

Brendan Wabick worked the first five innings for his first win of the year.
