Seward Downs The Vikings 35-14

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest Vikings fell at home on Friday night to the Seward Bluejays, 35-14. The two teams would go into the locker room tied at 14-14. Seward would take an early lead in the first quarter 7-0 but Northwest would answer with a 92-yard drive to tie the game at 7-7 on a Zane Harb four-yard touchdown run. The Vikings would force an interception and get the short field cashing in on the short field as Zane Harb would take it in for the second touchdown of the night on a 1-yard touchdown run to give Northwest a 14-7 lead. Seward would then get back on the board for the second time of the night with 17 seconds left in the 2nd quarter tying the game at 14 all with a touchdown pass of 37 yards. Seward would get three second-half touchdowns to close out the game with the win. The Bluejays are now 6-0 on the season and host Blair next Friday. Northwest (1-5) hits the road next week at York.
