Northwest Volleyball Finishes 2nd At Twin Cities Invite

(Scottsbluff-Gering, NE) - The Northwest volleyball team went 5-1 this past weekend at the Twin Cities Volleyball Invite. The Vikings opened up pool play by going 3-0 on Friday defeating North Platte, Scottsbluff, and Chase County all by the score of two sets to none. The Vikings then opened up bracket play with wins over Gering (2-1) & Ogallala (2-0). Northwest would fall in the championship match to Adams Central (0-2). Northwest is now 18-8 on the season and will be back in action on Thursday, October 10th hosting Omaha Duchesne. Listen live at 7:00 pm on 103.1 FM.
