Northwest Softball Snags Road Win At Lexington

(Lexington, NE) - Chalk up another win for the Northwest Viking softball team on Thursday night winning at Lexington by a final score of 18-0. Northwest got two three-run home runs on the night from Libby Loman and Becca Dinkelman. The Vikings have now hit 16 homers this season. Kyra Ray would have 2 hits and 2 RBIs in the game. Northwest had 18 runs on 11 hits and 0 errors. Lexington had one hit in the game. Pitching for the black and gold saw Simmons going one inning and Loman pitching two innings. 

The Vikings (6-0) will head to Lincoln for the Lincoln Public Schools invite on Friday where Northwest will play three games vs Class A opponents. After this weekend Northwest will host Kearney on Tuesday, September 3rd at the Vets Complex.
