Northwest Picks Up First Win Defeating Lexington 52-14

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest football team defeated Lexington on homecoming Friday night with a final score of 52-14. Northwest would have three turnovers in the game. The Vikings would have a 42-7 lead at the halftime break. Several 2nd teamers would play in the running clock second half. The Vikings are now 1-2 on the season and will host Bennington next Friday, September 20th. Lexington drops to 0-3 on the season and will travel to Plattsmouth next week.
