Merrick County Two Vehicle Injury Accident Friday
Merrick County Deputies were detailed to Highway 92 near 2nd Road in rural Merrick County for a two-vehicle injury accident on Friday, September 6th. The investigation concluded that a 2022 Ford F450 was traveling eastbound and a 2001 Chevrolet S10 pickup was traveling westbound on Highway 92. The Chevrolet pickup crossed the center line and collided with the rear of the Ford F450 causing both vehicles to enter the south ditch.
Seatbelts were in use at the time of the accident. No alcohol was suspected. Both drivers were evaluated by Palmer Rescue Department and released from he scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet pickup was issued a citation for Driving Left of Center and released. Palmer Fire and Rescue Department assisted at the scene.
