Kearney Sweeps Northwest Volleyball

(Kearney, NE) - The Kearney Bearcats won in straight sets on Tuesday night vs the Northwest Vikings. 25-19, 25-17, 25-22. The Vikings unofficially were led by Tessa Scheer with 7 kills, Ava Janulewicz had 6 kills, and Izzy Burhman chipped in 4 kills for the Vikings. Jamie Wilkens led Kearney with 9 kills, Sophie Glandt had 8 kills, and Hannah Betke had 6 kills for the Bearcats. 

Kearney is now 3-2 on the season. The next action for the Bearcats will be Thursday, September 5th hosting Lincoln Southwest. Northwest slips to 2-3 and will be back in action at the Beatrice Invite on Saturday, September 7th.
