Independent U.S. Senate Candidate Dan Osborn Submits Petition Signatures to Appear on the Ballot

Osborn-for-Senate

LINCOLN, NE — This morning, Dan Osborn, Independent candidate for United States Senate, submitted over 12,700 petition signatures to the Nebraska Secretary of State to officially qualify for ballot access. The number, over three times the required 4,000, reflects the hard work of supporters and campaign staff across Nebraska who are joining Osborn to stand up for working-class Nebraskans and against corporate-backed politician Pete Ricketts. This submission is higher than Osborn’s previous run in 2024, highlighting the increased support and enthusiasm for his independent, grassroots campaign.

These signatures were collected without the support of either major party’s infrastructure, relying on the movement that Osborn has built as a result of his willingness to speak out against the corrupt billionaire Epstein class and party bosses that are ignoring the needs of working Nebraskans. Osborn’s presence on the ballot shows that it’s possible to build a meaningful political movement outside the two-party system; it only requires the courage to speak to the real issues people face, no matter the enemies that creates.

"We set out in 2024 with the idea that we wanted to create a coalition that Nebraska has never seen before: Republicans, Democrats, Independents, under one umbrella, with the idea and the truth that working class people deserve a seat at the table in the United States Senate.” Dan Osborn said. “We’re making it happen.”

By submitting signatures today, Osborn’s team culminated months of effort by Nebraskans from almost every county in the state, all who share a desire to be represented by someone who listens to them and puts their needs above that of their ultra-wealthy donors and special interests.
