Hunting for Hope Approaching

Grand Island, NE – Hope Harbor invites you to gather friends, family, or coworkers to create the ultimate scavenger hunt team for Hunting for Hope: The Eras Hunt on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Hunting for Hope is a citywide scavenger hunt fundraiser that offers a unique and fun night out while supporting Hope Harbor’s mission to provide help and hope for a life of self-sufficiency. Teams will solve clues, complete challenges, and travel throughout Grand Island.

This year’s theme, The Eras Hunt, invites players to dress in their favorite decade or era, from vintage classics to retro favorites. Teams are encouraged to get creative with their costumes, team names, and team videos as prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed of the Era, Best Team Name, and Best Team Video. 

Teams may consist of two to six participants, making the event perfect couples, friends, families, and coworkers looking for a unique night out.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm
Team Size: 2 – 6 players
Cost: $30 per player
Cash Prizes for Placing Teams: $500, $250, $100
Opportunities to win other prizes and other fun!

Registration is now open for both teams and sponsors. Businesses are invited to support the event through sponsorship opportunities, prize donations, or by registering a team for their staff.
Proceeds from the event help Hope Harbor continue providing emergency shelter, transitional shelter, housing assistance, and basic essential needs through our community assistance program for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability throughout Central Nebraska.
