Hotel Drug Bust Leads To Multiple Arrests
Tuesday, officers with the GI Police Department responded to the inn Rodeway Inn in reference to a citizen assist. Hotel employees reported that an adult female had rented a room, but only juvenile males were using the room now. Officers attempted contact at the room. One male, later identified as a 17 year old male, climbed out the window and fled. Another male, identified as Abraham Clemente, then fled out the window and was stopped by officers. A subsequent search yielded marijuana on him. A third male, identified as a 15 year old male, was contacted and found to have two active Juvenile Detention Orders.
Officers conducted a search of the hotel room where they located marijuana and presumed oxycodone in quantities indicating intent to distribute. Officers also located property that had been reported stolen.
The 17 year old male was found to have a Class II Felony warrant for his arrest. Nicandra de Lara was identified as the renter of the hotel room.
The 15 year old male was arrested on a Hall County Juvenile Detention Orders.
Abraham Clemente was cited for Possession of Marijuana, less than 1 oz & Obstructing Police Officer.
The 17 year old male was referred for two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Obstructing Police Officer & Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
de Lara was referred for Accessory to Felony & Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
