Victim: 64 yr. old male Incident #: L24090760
Offender: Keri A Brown
Date and Time of Incident: 11:43 am 09/10/24
Location of Incident: 2703 E US Highway 30
Brief Narrative: An adult male contacted Police to report the theft of his backpack which was sitting on a chair outside his apartment room, #21. A female next door was contacted and it was later revealed through video evidence that she was seen in possession of the backpack. Consent to search the room was requested and granted. A back pack matching the one the victim reported was located. The victim was able tell the name of the previous owner which was written on the back of the pack indicating this was his pack. Missing Documents in the form of the Victims NE ID, his EBT card and his bus pass punch card were found inside the victim’s garbage can. Suspect was arrested and booked for the crimes listed below. Tampering with Physical Evidence 28-922 CL I MO

Offense: Gun Shots/Weapons Offense
Victim: Incident #: L24090841
Date and Time of Incident: 2:17 am 9/11/24
Location of Incident: 200 block S Oak Street
Brief Narrative: Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of S Oak St in reference to gun shots being heard. Contact was made with two individuals who heard the gun shots. Video footage was obtained with audible gun shots being heard. This case is open for further investigation.
