Location of Incident: Cheyenne Rd & Cherokee Ave
Brief Narrative: Officer observed vehicle traveling westbound on Cheyenne Rd near Cherokee Ave. The registration on this vehicle is expired. Officer activated overhead red and blue lights to conduct a traffic stop on this vehicle. The driver fled from the traffic stop by speeding and driving through lawns in the residential neighborhood, as well as running red lights at Hwy 281, in an attempt to avoid police. The driver was confirmed to be Heather Rodriguez. Heather has been referred to the County Attorney’s Office for Traffic Signal Violation, Reckless Driving, and Flight to Avoid Arrest.
