GI Legion Wednesday Night Baseball Re-Cap

(Grand Island, NE) - Area baseball fans will have plenty of action to enjoy through the weekend.  Last night, the Dinsdale Automotive juniors enjoyed a pair of walk-off wins over North Platte at Ryder Park - in the opener, Nomar Quezada scored in the seventh to lift the home team to a 4-3 win; in the nightcap, Ashton Helgoth drove in the winning run to secure a 10-9 decision.  The U-Save Pharmacy seniors came out on the short end of both games at North Platte, dropping 12-0 and 11-0 decisions.  Both teams host St. Paul tonight.  The Five Points Bank juniors have a full weekend of tournament play in Kearney beginning tomorrow; the Home Federal seniors host Columbus tomorrow night at 7:00.  Head coach Kirby Wells said Ryan Coslor’s grand slam during their sixth inning surge in Tuesday’s game two home win over Norfolk gave them a huge shot in the arm…
