Attempted Murder Arrest Tops GI Police Report

Offense: Assault w/a Knife
Victim: 21 year old female, 5 year old female, 1 year old male, 2 year old female

Offender: Julissa Trevino
Date and Time of Incident: between 7/15/24 & 7/25/24
Location of Incident: 724 E 11th St
Brief Narrative: At approximately 1137 7/25/24, Officers responded to a belated report of an assault with a knife. The assault occurred at 724 11th St E on 7/15/24 at approximately 8:00pm. Victim reports during a verbal altercation with her sister, Julissa Trevino walked across the kitchen, over to the sink where the victim was standing and grabbed a butcher knife from the sink. Julissa admitted to grabbing the knife and brandishing it towards her sister. Julissa stated the victim struck her and she didn't remember what happened after that. Victim stated Julissa attacked her with the knife approximately 8 times, causing various lacerations to her head, face, and arm. Medical treatment was required for the injuries, to include three staples in the top of her head and eight stitches to her chin. Three children ages 1, 2 & 5 were present during the assault and witnessed the events. Julissa displayed premeditation by grabbing the knife prior to the assault, and stabbing the victim, which could have caused death and did cause serious bodily injury to the victim by striking her several times in the face and head with a knife. Julissa was placed under arrest Attempt Class I Felony (1st Degree Murder), 1st Degree Assault, Use of a Weapon (Knife) to Commit Felony x2 and Child Abuse Neglect x3.

Location of Incident: S Locust & Midaro Dr
Brief Narrative: On 07/15/2024, an Officer would be patrolling northbound on Locust St from Highway 34. Near the intersection of Locust St and Midaro Dr. A white 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 would recklessly pass by a marked patrol vehicle at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop would be initiated with overhead lights activated. The vehicle would continue and fail to stop while increasing speeds. The vehicle would then go into the wrong lane of traffic, while other vehicles were traveling in the opposite direction, willfully and recklessly endangering those other vehicles. The traffic stop would ultimately be terminated. On 07/17/2024, Officers conducted follow up at Pump and Pantry, 3436 S Locust St. Surveillance footage would be reviewed. The footage would show on 07/15/2024, around 2329, a white Dodge Ram 1500 would enter the gas station. Officers would be able to positively identify a male that exited the driver's seat of the Dodge as Luis Alvarado-Lima who is known from previous Law Enforcement involvements. Location of Incident: Claude Rd & Old Potash Hwy
Brief Narrative: On 07/24/2024, at approximately 1928 hours, officers observed a black Suzuki motorcycle driving westbound on Old Potash with no license plates. The male driver would observe officers behind him and would take off at a high rate of speed. Officers would drive approximately 75 miles per hour in attempts to catch up to the vehicle. The male driver would look back at officers several times and would begin passing vehicle and weaving in and
out of traffic. Vehicles would slow down and attempt to move out of the motorcycles way. The motorcycle would drive on the cement of the roundabout on North Road and Old Potash, in attempts to get away from officers. It should be noted there are several businesses, a school, and several houses in this area. The driver would be wearing a black ski mask, white shirt, and a black backpack. Officers would locate the suspect vehicle and suspect, Jake Jacquot on 07/25/2024. When Jake was located, he would be in possession of the ski mask, black backpack, and the motorcycle. A records check would reveal that Jake does not have a motorcycle operator’s license. Jake would not be able to provide valid registration for the vehicle. Jake would admit to being involved in several Flight to Avoid offenses. Jake Jacquot was arrested for Flight to Avoid, No Vehicle Registration, No Motorcycle Operator’s License and Willful Reckless .

Location of Incident: 2620 W Faidley Ave
Brief Narrative: On 7/25/2024 around 18:20 officers responded to 2620 Faidley Ave in reference to an assault. The victim reported while performing her duties as a registered nurse a patient who was identified as Edward Sinner kicked her in the shoulder causing her pain. A witnessed confirmed the statements from the victim. Edward was unable to be contacted as he was sedated so St. Francis could provide him medical care. Edward will be referred for 3rd Degree Assault on a Healthcare Provider.

Brief Narrative: An unknown person entered Sutter Deli after the business was closed and stole property. Case is on-going.

Brief Narrative: An adult male contacted Police to report a Milwaukee Hackzall and an unknown brand blue power washer stolen sometime in the last three months from his detached garage Unknown person entered the garage at some point in the last three months.
