31 Businesses Featured in First-Ever Railside Passport
Interview with Sherry Siwinski
Grand Island, Neb. — Exploring Railside just got a little more rewarding.
Railside is launching its first-ever Railside Passport. The downtown promotion is designed to encourage residents and visitors to discover local businesses while taking advantage of exclusive offers throughout the district.
The passport features 31 participating Railside businesses, each offering a special promotion available exclusively to passport holders. Participants can visit each location, redeem offers and collect stamps along the way as they explore everything Railside has to offer. The full list of businesses can be found at www.arriverailside.com/passportstops
A total of 5,000 passports have been distributed throughout Grand Island and the surrounding area and can be picked up at 45 different locations including participating businesses, community organizations and visitor destinations. The full list of pick-up locations can be found at www.arriverailside.com/getapassport.
"This passport is about celebrating the businesses that make Railside such a unique destination," Railside Director Sherry Siwinski said. "Whether you're a longtime customer or visiting a business for the first time, the passport gives people a fun reason to explore, support local entrepreneurs and experience everything our district has to offer."
Participants are encouraged to fill their passport with as many stamps as possible. Once completed—or completed to the best of their ability—passports can be dropped off at the Railside office or Grand Island Tourism for a chance to win one of five Railside Gift Baskets. Each gift basket will feature items, gift cards and merchandise from the 31 participating businesses and will be awarded during the 2026 Railside Christmas celebration on Friday, November 20.
The passport will actively run from Monday June, 8 through Saturday, October 31.
